Getting a good night's sleep

Getting a good night's sleep is an important part of staying healthy both physically and mentally.  Studies show that at least 7 hours of sleep each night is the best way for most of us to keep healthy, and sleep deprivation is linked to several health problems.  According to WebMD's Gina Shaw, getting at least 7 hours of sleep could help improve at least 5 key health problems. The Healing Power of Sleep has information on some surprising health issues that getting enough sleep can help improve.

Unfortunately, getting a good night's sleep isn't always that easy, especially if you live in an area where there is a lot of environmental noise.  Luckily, there are ways to help block out noise and help ensure your ability to fall asleep, and stay asleep! Stylelist Home posted a gallery with 9 Ways To Block Out Noise And Get a Good Night's Sleep for Once that offers some tips that you might not have thought of to help you drift off to sleep.
